Department: Sales/ Reservation Report to: Reservation Team Leader/ Manager, cross report to MD Location: Kathmandu Office Roles and responsibilities: • Prepare accurate internal service sheet & quotation sheet (reservation sheet) for the confirmed itinerary, line by line to ensure all the services are booked within the allocated budget • Communicate and follow-up with Sales and Reservation team members based at Tokyo and Hanoi re-quests swiftly through email/ skype • Prepare detail welcome arrival information based on the confirmed itinerary and service sheet to the clients • Book hotels through internal system upon the request of Sales team and maintain up to date record • Prepare / check monthly reports and invoices (additional responsibilities subject to work load) • Participate in trainings, workshops as scheduled by team leader. • Follow the company standard operating process and guidelines • Efficient use of project timelines, milestones using appropriate tools and planning • Build strong, transparent long-term relationship with coworkers based at Tokyo and Hanoi office Needed Skills, Knowledge and Attitudes: • Excellent command of English writing, listening and speaking • Fluent in Japanese speaking and writing skills is a must Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Sales/ Reservation/ Operations position • Deep interest in Japan and the culture • Sound knowledge and hands on experience of Sales cycling from itinerary planning, making proposal, quotation in excel, presenting, closing sales and following ups • Highly proactive in communication with the internal teams and agents • A team player with positive and can-do- attitude Additional requirements: • Weekly meetings and report to follow up the task • Forward thinking and finding solution keeping in the best interest of clients • Committed and Flexible to adapt in changing environment of the company • Ready to work under pressure and longer hours in the high seasons • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, attention to detail is must Salary, Working hours and benefits: • Gross salary: Highly Competitive • Individual Performance bonus, Year End bonus • Public holidays as per the Nepalese law • Product and familiarization trip to Japan for 12 days after being in the role for 12 months and subject to meeting the KPI Carrier Development Plan: Comprehensive carrier development plan of 12- 24 months to be worked out for high performing staff to be re-located to the head office in Tokyo Applying Procedure: Interested and qualified candidate fulfilling above criteria are requested to send their CV and Cover letter to hr@beautyofjapantours.com.
